PARALYSIS
Paralysis caused by polio usually can be treated with Universal Energy (UE) if done so within six years. For cases longer than six years, success is possible but at a lower rate and much longer time. If the cause was a stroke, please see the Stroke section for more information. If the cause was an accident, success depends on the severity of damage of the nerves and muscles. The general rule of thumb is that if you can feel ANY changes within the first three weeks of UE healing, your chance of a full or partial recovery is high.
UE treatment for paralysis may require longer than three months. In fact, although there is immediate improvement in most cases, full recovery from paralysis may take many months. You may experience minor discomfort of tingling sensations within the paralyzed muscles during the first 2 weeks of treatment. This is a very good sign; do not be alarmed. Just pay close attention to the sensations and do not resist the urge for mobility from within those muscles. Will the movement with your mind, using visualization if possible. Be patient with yourself.
